Both he and his younger sister Loena compete internationally in figure skating for Belgium, with the two sharing the same coach. "I think it's my job as a big brother to give her opportunities that I had not previously had. I think I would be a little better now if I had received the best professional guidance from a young age. Of course you can never know that. I now try to guide her as much as possible and give her tips about skating, but also about what you should and should not eat. I'm a bit like her manager."
