  • The Olympic Plaza, which is a symbol of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, is located in PyeongChang.
  • In the Olympic Plaza, where the opening and closing ceremonies place and the cauldron are located, various events will be held.
  • The spectators holding a ticket can participate in various events, entering the Plaza without having to pay additional charges. (Yet, on the opening and closing ceremony days, only the ticket holders for the ceremonies can enter the Plaza.)
  • With the advanced technology and K-culture of Korea combined, visitors can experience the cultural Olympics and the ICT Olympics in person.

Olympic Stadium

It is a place where the opening and closing ceremonies of PyeongChang 2018 will be held. It will be used only for the ceremonies, and access by visitors will be controlled except on the ceremony days.


The torch, which is the symbol of the Olympic Games, is lit in Athens, Greece, and will light the cauldron after the torch relay for 101 days. Photos can be taken against the backdrop of the torch.

Medal Plaza

Every day, medal ceremonies for the day and various cultural events are staged. Fans can have a special opportunity to engage with athletes at this place.

Culture - ICT Hall

The hall provides exhibitions, performances and events that combine the culture and the information and communication technologies of Korea and analogue and digital. On the 1st floor, people can see the representative pieces of Korea’s culture and art, and on the 2nd floor, people can experience the information and communication technologies in person.

It is a place where people can watch the competitions broadcast live through a big screen and cheer for the athletes together. People can also watch large-scale performances and experience snow sports.

There is a café served by robots produced by using Korea’s advanced information and communication technologies. People can meet the contemporary technologies of Korea through demonstrations and experiencing events.
