Spectators that wish to visit the venue with their own vehicles can also avail of park and ride services and take the shuttle bus from the car park to the venue.

Olympic Lane will be open for vehicles during the Olympic Games period for smooth operation. Private vehicles will not be allowed to enter a venue or park at a parking lot. Please be sure to update your navigation system to the latest version when visiting with your private vehicle.

  • Parking will be available from the day before the Opening Ceremony (Feb 8, 2018) to the day after the Closing Ceremony (Feb 26, 2018).
  • Parking operating hours are 06:00 ~23:00. However, in the case of late night games (ending after 23:00) the nearest parking will expand its operating hours by two hours.
  • Parking is open to all passenger cars, vans, and coaches. However, trucks that exceed 1 ton will be restricted.

Transport Spectators

  • Transport Spectators (TS) will be provided inside the venues.
  • ‘Anyone’ can use it for free, regardless of whether you have an admission ticket or not.
  • Operating period is from Feb 8, 2018 (day before the Opening) to Feb 26, 2018 (day after the Closing). Operating hours are from three hours before the start of the first game to two hours after the end of the last game, every day.
  • You can receive more detailed guidance on spectator shuttle bus if you call the Bus Call Centre (033-654-0551~0556 / Operating Hours: 24 Hours)

  • 1. All buses run round trips from the departure point to destination. (However, TS 7 and 8 run in circulation routes)
  • 2. There may be changes made in operation date when there is a change in game schedule.
  • 3. Operating hours may be changed flexibly depending on weather situation and the characteris-tics of each game.
  • 4. The schedule above is representative of the peak times (three hours prior to the start of a game ~ game start / game end ~ two hours after the end of a game).

    The first train is at 06:00 from Seoul Station, 06:40 from Cheongnyangni Station, 07:05 from Sangbong Station; the last train is at 23:10 from Gangneung to Seoul Station, 01:20 to Cheongnyangni Station, and 00:20 to Sangbong Station.

    Number 202 and 300 buses go to Gangneung Olympic Park (about 15 min interval), number 225 and 225-1 buses go to the Kwandong Hockey Centre (about 20 min interval). Please also note that the city buses will run for free during the Winter Games.
    Q4.
    Can I ride a taxi to the venue?
    A.
    You cannot approach to the entrance to a venue when riding a taxi; you can use the nearest taxi stand to the venue. Likewise, you can head to the nearest taxi stand by foot and ride a taxi after a game is over.
    Q5.
    Can only those who have admission ticket ride on the shuttle bus?
    A.
    The shuttle bus is free for ‘everyone’ regardless of having a ticket or not. There will not be any other procedures to check for admission tickets and such.

    What is the operation period and the operating hour of the shuttle bus?
    A.

      Everyday, three hours prior to the first game to two hours after the end of the last game.

      However, TS 7,TS 8, TS 30, TS 31 buses will run from 08:00 to 24:00, everyday regardless of the game hours.

    What happens to the shuttle bus operation when there is a change in the game schedule?
    A.
    The shuttle bus operating hour will change along with the change to the game schedule. Such changes will be reflected live on the ‘GO-PyeongChang’ app.
    Q8.
    Can I ride on the shuttle bus with my pet?
    A.
    Whether you have your pet inside a pet crate (carrier, kennel etc.) or not, you cannot ride on the shuttle bus when carrying a pet. Only guide dogs for the impaired persons are allowed on the shuttle bus.

    Pets are not allowed inside the venues and there are no other facilities that provide a care ser-vice near the venues. (Guide dogs for the visually impaired persons are allowed inside the ven-ues.)

    How can people with reduced mobility use the shuttle bus?
    A.
    There will be 48 non-step shuttle buses that are equipped with two wheelchair seats. Also, wheelchair lift buses will be arranged in some routes (Phoenix Snow Venue region) that will help the boarding and alighting of the passengers on wheelchairs.
