    [Notes on Figure Skating]
    • Please refrain from moving seats during a performance.
    • A round of applause after performing a high-level skill will be an encouragement to the athlete. → Cheers and applause in appropriate manner can be encouraging, but loud commotion will be disturbing.
    • Please refrain from throwing hard objects as gifts on the ice rink as they may damage the ice. → When throwing a doll or a flower bouquet as a gift, please wrap it in a transparent plastic wrapper so that its parts do not fall out onto the rink.
    • Please turn the flash off when taking photographs. → Flashlights reflecting on the ice rink or direct flashlights may be a hindrance to the game.
[Notes on Short Track Speed Skating]
    • Please refrain from moving seats during a performance.
    • Please keep silence before the start-off of an athlete. → Shouting out loud may expose the position and timing of the athletes. The most desirable timing of cheering is when the athletes have stepped onto the ice rink, when a referee calls on each lane, and when the athletes have passed the finishing line.
    • Using flashlights from the seating bowl is strictly prohibited. → Flashlights reflecting on the ice rink or direct flashlights may be a hindrance to the game.
